let's recycle!

Yay—let's recycle! Here’s a quick guide for when you've finished using all your products:

1. Make the products 'recycle ready' by rinsing it out and cleaning it. What if the product doesn't work for me? Give it to someone who might like to try it! That way, you will minimise wastage and give the product a second home. ♡♡

2. Get the DETAILS! Typically, most skin care packaging is recyclable in Australia, but what can and can’t be recycled depends on where you live. A quick Google search will reveal a recycling guideline based on your state / territory.

3. Can I put this in my recycling bin? If you've checked and the answer is 'yes', give these items a second life and put them in the recycling bin. If it's not, look into enterprises like TerraCycle, to help you properly recycle your beauty products. If the product is recycable through TerraCycle, it is FREE and all you have to do is gather your empty products together, print a recycling label and ship it out - that’s it! They’ll take care of the rest for you.

FYI, recycling plants uses numbers ranging from 1 to 7 to help sort all the materials. PETE stands for Polyethylene Terephthalate and PP stands for Polypropylene — these are both plastics. PAP represents paper / mixed paper / cardboard. See Earth Easy to learn more about your plastics.

That's it babes! Remember to love our earth; love our planet! #dontbetrashy

Frequently Asked Questions

Is COSRX Good morning cleanser good for acne?

COSRX's Good Morning Cleanser is particularly good for acne (bacterial acne especially) because of its inclusion of tea-tree oil in the formula. Tea-tree has natural anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, which can help calm acne and remove acne-causing bacteria from the skin's surface.

Can I use COSRX Good Morning Cleanser at night?

You can use the COSRX Good Morning Cleanser at night too - not just when you wake up despite it's name! We'd recommend combining it with a good oil cleanser for a double cleanse in the evening, to help remove all traces of debris, makeup and sweat after a long day.

Does COSRX Good Morning Cleanser have BHA?

The COSRX Good Morning Cleanser does not contain traditional BHA i.e. salicylic acid. Instead, it contains Betaine Salicylate, which is touted as a gentler version of salicylic acid, derived from sugar beets. It doesn't have the same pore-unclogging abilities as standard BHA, but is also far less harsh and drying - especially for sensitive skin.

What does COSRX Low pH Cleanser do?

If your skin is irritated from product overuse, harsh anti-acne treatments or just stressed, reach for the COSRX Low pH Cleanser. It'll gently help to clear congestion, and won't feel as drying on the skin as a higher pH Cleanser. Instead, it'll leave your skin clean, but feeling comfortable and balanced.

Does COSRX low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser have salicylic acid?

The COSRX Good Morning Cleanser does not contain salicylic acid. However, it does contain betaine salicylate - see above for an explainer.
