Yay—let's recycle! Here’s a quick guide for when you've finished using all your products:
1. Make the products 'recycle ready' by rinsing it out and cleaning it. What if the product doesn't work for me? Give it to someone who might like to try it! That way, you will minimise wastage and give the product a second home. ♡♡
2. Get the DETAILS! Typically, most skin care packaging is recyclable in Australia, but what can and can’t be recycled depends on where you live. A quick Google search will reveal a recycling guideline based on your state / territory.
3. Can I put this in my recycling bin? If you've checked and the answer is 'yes', give these items a second life and put them in the recycling bin. If it's not, look into enterprises like TerraCycle, to help you properly recycle your beauty products. If the product is recycable through TerraCycle, it is FREE and all you have to do is gather your empty products together, print a recycling label and ship it out - that’s it! They’ll take care of the rest for you.
FYI, recycling plants uses numbers ranging from 1 to 7 to help sort all the materials. PETE stands for Polyethylene Terephthalate and PP stands for Polypropylene — these are both plastics. PAP represents paper / mixed paper / cardboard. See Earth Easy to learn more about your plastics.
That's it babes! Remember to love our earth; love our planet! #dontbetrashy

The COSRX Advanced Snail 92 All In One Cream wouldn't be our first choice for oily skin, unless your oily skin is also dehydrated (i.e. it is pumping out oil, but still having trouble retaining moisture and feels "tight"). In that case, this product can help prevent the moisture loss and reassure your sebum glands that they don't need to overcompensate.
The COSRX Advanced Snail All In One Cream is both a moisturizer as well as a 'slugging' treatment. Most people use it as a moisturizing cream, but because of its generous occlusive properties, it's also able to be used after moisturizing to 'seal' it in. It's a lot more lightweight than vaseline or marula oil, but still does a great job!
The COSRX Advanced Snail 92 All In One Cream doesn't really treat blackheads very well. It's more focused towards providing supple moisture and dewy skin. For treating blackheads specifically, you really want to try a BHA like the COSRX BHA Blackhead Power Liquid, or even a retinol product.
The COSRX Advanced Snail 92 All In One Cream can function as an occlusive as well as a moisturizer. It is especially great for sensitive or congestion-prone skin that need to correct moisture loss, but struggle with heavier occlusives such as coconut oil or vaseline.
You can use the COSRX Advanced Snail 92 All In One Cream with retinol! One of the best things about snail mucin as an ingredient is that despite its amazing properties, it's still very gentle on the skin. This makes it ideal for daily use and for combining with other active ingredients such as retinol, acid exfoliants, vitamin C and several others. It can even help offset the drying effects of vitamin A.
While it's not the first thing we'd recommend for acne-prone skin, the COSRX Advanced Snail 92 All In One Cream doesn't necessarily cause breakouts. In fact, snail mucin can be good for acne on skin that's dry and sensitized. It naturally contains glycolic acid, which can help to gently unclog pores and fade acne scars. We'd recommended after a breakout rather than as a breakout treatment for this reason. However, because it can also function as an occlusive, we wouldn't recommend it for oilier skin, bacterial acne or moderate to severe breakouts.
The COSRX Advanced Snail 92 All In One Cream should come at the very end of your skincare routine, where you apply your moisturizer or your occlusive product. You can use it both morning and evening.
You can use the COSRX Advanced Snail 92 All In One Cream on sensitive skin. That's because Snail mucin is an absolute pro at skin healing, regeneration and hydration. The cream contains no less than 92% snail secretion, making this one very potent product on damaged and redness prone skin. It can also help mimic the function of a healthy skin barrier, thanks to its occlusive properties.
