Yay—let's recycle! Here’s a quick guide for when you've finished using all your products:
1. Make the products 'recycle ready' by rinsing it out and cleaning it. What if the product doesn't work for me? Give it to someone who might like to try it! That way, you will minimise wastage and give the product a second home. ♡♡
2. Get the DETAILS! Typically, most skin care packaging is recyclable in Australia, but what can and can’t be recycled depends on where you live. A quick Google search will reveal a recycling guideline based on your state / territory.
3. Can I put this in my recycling bin? If you've checked and the answer is 'yes', give these items a second life and put them in the recycling bin. If it's not, look into enterprises like TerraCycle, to help you properly recycle your beauty products. If the product is recycable through TerraCycle, it is FREE and all you have to do is gather your empty products together, print a recycling label and ship it out - that’s it! They’ll take care of the rest for you.
FYI, recycling plants uses numbers ranging from 1 to 7 to help sort all the materials. PETE stands for Polyethylene Terephthalate and PP stands for Polypropylene — these are both plastics. PAP represents paper / mixed paper / cardboard. See Earth Easy to learn more about your plastics.
That's it babes! Remember to love our earth; love our planet! #dontbetrashy

The reason why the lip masks from Laneige are so popular is simple: they really work! The products have attracted more than 10,000 5-star reviews on USA Sephora. What sets these little pots apart is that unlike some other lip balms, which foster dependency, Laneige actually works to fix dehydration and chapping - so hopefully, you won't need to use it as often. We also love that Laneige includes active ingredients usually reserved for high-end facial products: hyaluronic acid, vitamin C etc.
Typically, it doesn't take very long for the Laneige Lip Sleeping Masks to work: you should notice an improvement overnight. And with regular use, you should be able to prevent chapping and flaking altogether. We even read a review from one person who lived in Northern Canada where extreme temperatures prevail (we're talking -50 degrees celsius....what). The Laneige Lip Masks were the only product that kept her lips from cracking in the harsh winter climate.
The cool thing about the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask in Berry is that it has a light tint with a slight sheen. It's quite a natural glaze, so won't make a huge difference or give you a noticeable lip stain (if that's what you're after). But if you're looking for that barely-there sorta hue, then opt for Berry. The other flavours generally have less colour.
Properly hydrated lips can give off a plumper effect, so in that sense, Laneige lip masks can make lips appear bigger. But this isn't a filler! Expect moisture rather than expansion. If you're looking for a lip plumper (without needles), try the Refresh AHA BHA Vitamin C Lip Plumper from COSRX, which contains Volufiline to help create a fuller look. There's also Frudia's Pomegranate Honey 3in1 Lip Balm if you're after a rougy tint.
You can use Laneige's Lip Sleeping Mask every day and as often as needed. Its ingredients are perfectly safe and not harmful to your skin, even with frequent use. You'll probably find however, that a little goes a long way and you won't need to re-apply as often as you would Vaseline (unless you're a serial lip-licker).
The Lip Sleeping Mask from Laneige is meant to be used as a lip balm as well as an overnight treatment. If you're lips are particularly dry, apply a generous layer of the lip mask on top of slightly damp lips (you can use a hydrating toner or thermal water). It makes a big difference, with the additional moisture boosting the plumping capability of the hyaluronic acid in the lip mask formula. You can also use the Laneige Lip Mask before applying a matte lipstick to give it a subtle shine, or on top for more of a glossy look. Finally, it can be used as a good old lip balm as and when needed. We love its versatility!
The Laneige Lip Masks smell delicious: to the point where you might wanna eat them (but please don't). They all have sweet, candy-like scents (reminiscent of your high-school chapsticks) without being overpowering. Also, the little jars are mad cute, NGL.
Does it moisturize well?? Girl, need you even ask at this point? The reviews don't lie! The Laneige Lip Masks moisturize dry lips, and acts as a semi-occlusive as well - encouraging moisture retention. Wanna try the facial version of the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask? Try the Laneige Water Sleeping Pack. Same goals, but for the rest of your skin.
