Yay—let's recycle! Here’s a quick guide for when you've finished using all your products:
1. Make the products 'recycle ready' by rinsing it out and cleaning it. What if the product doesn't work for me? Give it to someone who might like to try it! That way, you will minimise wastage and give the product a second home. ♡♡
2. Get the DETAILS! Typically, most skin care packaging is recyclable in Australia, but what can and can’t be recycled depends on where you live. A quick Google search will reveal a recycling guideline based on your state / territory.
3. Can I put this in my recycling bin? If you've checked and the answer is 'yes', give these items a second life and put them in the recycling bin. If it's not, look into enterprises like TerraCycle, to help you properly recycle your beauty products. If the product is recycable through TerraCycle, it is FREE and all you have to do is gather your empty products together, print a recycling label and ship it out - that’s it! They’ll take care of the rest for you.
FYI, recycling plants uses numbers ranging from 1 to 7 to help sort all the materials. PETE stands for Polyethylene Terephthalate and PP stands for Polypropylene — these are both plastics. PAP represents paper / mixed paper / cardboard. See Earth Easy to learn more about your plastics.

Ceramidin Body Butter is suitable for dry, dehydrated and atopic skin. It's the perfect winter balm for those in cooler climates.
Apply to clean skin onto dry areas when needed. Apply an extra amount on areas prone to roughness and darkening such as elbows and knees.

Is Ceramidin good for oily skin?
Dr Jart's Ceramidin series might not be the best option for oily skin, unless your skin is oily as a result of dehydration or irrtation. Because Ceramidin products are rich in fatty acids to correct persistently dry skin, it might be too heavy on skin that is already oily. A more suitable option may be water-based moisturizing ingredients, such as hyaluronic acid or beta glucan.
What is Ceramidin for skin?
Ceramidin is the name of Dr Jart's trademark superhero skincare range for dry or barrier-compromised skin. The rich and nourishing formulas offered by each of these products in the series work beautifully to repair damaged skin and improve moisture retention. It's one of Dr Jart's most beloved ranges, because it is so effective!
Does Dr Jart Ceramidin body butter cause acne?
There's nothing in Dr Jart's Ceramidin Body Butter's ingredients list that should cause acne in and of itself - the trick is to find out whether it suits you or your skin's needs. Skin that is already oily or that does not take well to rich butters and creams may not respond well to the Ceramidin Body Butter, while other skin types will drink it right up.

Dr Jart's Ceramidin Body Butter contains safe and effective ingredients to enhance skin's moisture levels. A quick study of the ngredients list on amazingly helpful website INCI Decoder reveals a whole heap of "goodie" ingredients. Just be aware that it contains a couple of fragrant plant-based oils such as Bergamot - so avoid if your skin is extremely sensitive to essential oils.
