Yay—let's recycle! Here’s a quick guide for when you've finished using all your products:
1. Make the products 'recycle ready' by rinsing it out and cleaning it. What if the product doesn't work for me? Give it to someone who might like to try it! That way, you will minimise wastage and give the product a second home. ♡♡
2. Get the DETAILS! Typically, most skin care packaging is recyclable in Australia, but what can and can’t be recycled depends on where you live. A quick Google search will reveal a recycling guideline based on your state / territory.
3. Can I put this in my recycling bin? If you've checked and the answer is 'yes', give these items a second life and put them in the recycling bin. If it's not, look into enterprises like TerraCycle, to help you properly recycle your beauty products. If the product is recycable through TerraCycle, it is FREE and all you have to do is gather your empty products together, print a recycling label and ship it out - that’s it! They’ll take care of the rest for you.
FYI, recycling plants uses numbers ranging from 1 to 7 to help sort all the materials. PETE stands for Polyethylene Terephthalate and PP stands for Polypropylene — these are both plastics. PAP represents paper / mixed paper / cardboard. See Earth Easy to learn more about your plastics.
That's it babes! Remember to love our earth; love our planet! #dontbetrashy

What isn't Cica good for? Also known as Centella, Gotu Kola or Centella Asiactica, cica has antibacterial properties and can be effective in removing the angry redness from acne. It can also hydrate congested skin without imparting greasiness or clogging pores. It's a boon on sensitive skin too, thanks to its anti-inflammatory qualities. Virtually everyone's skincare routine can find a place for this plant extract.
Cica has anti-inflammatory qualities, therefore it will help to reduce inflammation. In fact, cica has long been the go-to for sensitized, red and damaged skin in several Asian cultures. Cica has been used fortify a compromised skin barrier, boost moisture retention and calm irritation.
How long the COSRX Cica-& Relief Kit lasts literally depends on how often and how much you use it! If you're like us and slather on skincare like it's going out of fashion (and using a bit more than is advised), it probably won't last too long given it is in a travel-kit size. But if you want to try it to see how your skin adjusts to it, it will last long enough to let you now whether your skin loves it (or not). It's also more than enough for a short getaway.
The benefits of COSRX Cica-7 Relief kit are several, and we list some of them above. The Relief Kit is meant to help repair a compromised skin barrier, reduce redness, soothe irritation and improve moisture retention.
One thing cica won't do, is clog pores. Cica is a non-comedogenic ingredient that is generally well embraced by most skin types. Of course, any cica product you use contains several other ingredients as well, to boost the formula, bind the ingredients together and improve the texture. So make sure you always patch test first!
