Yay—let's recycle! Here’s a quick guide for when you've finished using all your products:
1. Make the products 'recycle ready' by rinsing it out and cleaning it. What if the product doesn't work for me? Give it to someone who might like to try it! That way, you will minimise wastage and give the product a second home. ♡♡
2. Get the DETAILS! Typically, most skin care packaging is recyclable in Australia, but what can and can’t be recycled depends on where you live. A quick Google search will reveal a recycling guideline based on your state / territory.
3. Can I put this in my recycling bin? If you've checked and the answer is 'yes', give these items a second life and put them in the recycling bin. If it's not, look into enterprises like TerraCycle, to help you properly recycle your beauty products. If the product is recycable through TerraCycle, it is FREE and all you have to do is gather your empty products together, print a recycling label and ship it out - that’s it! They’ll take care of the rest for you.
FYI, recycling plants uses numbers ranging from 1 to 7 to help sort all the materials. PETE stands for Polyethylene Terephthalate and PP stands for Polypropylene — these are both plastics. PAP represents paper / mixed paper / cardboard. See Earth Easy to learn more about your plastics.
That's it babes! Remember to love our earth; love our planet! #dontbetrashy
Hey guys! Just a heads up that Nuud will be fulfilled on or before Dec 29th...our star fulfilment team is taking a well-deserved mini Xmas break :)
Nuud is a powerful, all-natural vegan deodorant. It doesn't cover up smells with cheap fragrances. Instead, silver neutralises odours, leaving your pits smelling as fresh as ice! Best part about it? It’s so effective, one application lasts for 3-7 days. With that said, it’s still gentle on your skin. This means no aluminium, parabens, petrochemicals, salts and perfumes.
And now, the company has updated the formula (again, take two) to a more lightweight, spreadable and breathable Nuud! If you found the previous formula a bit too runny, you'll be pleased to near that Nuud has replaced the squalane and rice bran oil with sunflower seed oil. Plus, its short fatty acid chain makes it less likely to clog pores. But don't worry - it sacrifices none of the efficacy.

Nuud Natural Deodorant loves all skin types and takes care of sensitive / dry skin.
You only need a pea-sized amount of Nuud to work its magic. Apply to your underarms and gently rub into the skin until absorbed. Depending on your body type and how often you sweat, you may only need to apply Nuud every other day. Give your body an 'adjustment' period if you're making the switch to a natural deodorant for the first time. Once your body finishes detoxing, you'll never look back!
Precautions:
Stop using the product immediately and consult a dermatologist when redness, swelling, or other skin irritations occur, and consult a physician. Avoid applying the product on open wounds or skin inflammation. Keep away from direct sunlight and out of reach of infants and children.

NUUD deodorant is indeed vegan and cruelty-free! It's a great vegan alternative to conventional deodorants.
It sure is! The active ingredient that keeps your pits smell-free remains - what's changed is the texture and application. The new formula absorbs faster on the skin, and feels less pasty and oily. This is particularly good news for those with already oily skin that's prone to blocked pores.
Don't fret if you still smell after using NUUD: when you first use it, it takes an adjustment period. The smell of perspiration isn't masked by added fragrances when you first switch to nuud. It takes time for your microbiome to get used to this new product and inhibit the smelly bacteria - usually around 2 weeks. For some people who don't have a lot of bacteria to start with, nuud will work right from the first application! It's different for everyone.
NUUD anti-ordorant is incredibly effective - just check out the reviews! It works by inhibiting smelly bacteria that causes odours. What it won't do is block your pores with chemicals and stop you from sweating - which is your body's natural way of regulating your temperature. You'll still sweat, but it will be odorless.
How long it takes for NUUD to work really depends on the person. For those who are already using clean or natural deodorants, it's more likely to work sooner than those who use anti-perspirants. Anti-perspirant generally go through a detox period of a week or two, after which you should feel NUUD kick in and the odour disappear. At that stage, you can even try reducing your frequency of application: many only need to apply it every other day.
It doesn't take long to get used to NUUD. Admittedly, it does feel a little odd applying a paste to your underarms instead of just using a roll-on or a spray, but we like the novelty!
The only thing that happens to your armpits when you switch to natural deodorants is, well, nothing! Your pits will be happy, less irritated, less smelly and able to sweat. Plus, NUUD won't stain your clothes: so your pits will feel less guilty about that too.
NUUD works thanks to the silver in the formula. Silver naturally prevents the smell of perspiration, without blocking the pores or irritating the skin. There's no aluminium, irritating salts, animinal-derived ingredients, or petrochemical-derived ingredients. Just the good stuff!
