Yay—let's recycle! Here’s a quick guide for when you've finished using all your products:
1. Make the products 'recycle ready' by rinsing it out and cleaning it. What if the product doesn't work for me? Give it to someone who might like to try it! That way, you will minimise wastage and give the product a second home. ♡♡
2. Get the DETAILS! Typically, most skin care packaging is recyclable in Australia, but what can and can’t be recycled depends on where you live. A quick Google search will reveal a recycling guideline based on your state / territory.
3. Can I put this in my recycling bin? If you've checked and the answer is 'yes', give these items a second life and put them in the recycling bin. If it's not, look into enterprises like TerraCycle, to help you properly recycle your beauty products. If the product is recycable through TerraCycle, it is FREE and all you have to do is gather your empty products together, print a recycling label and ship it out - that’s it! They’ll take care of the rest for you.

Beauty of Joseon's Glow Serum is essentially a 2% niacinamide and propolis serum, with a texture like a watery, hydrating jelly. It's perfect for acne and redness prone skin that's also dehydrated, as well as congested skin on the sensitive side. Because the only active ingredient in Beauty of Joseon's Glow Serum is niacinamide (2%), it can be safely used with your favourite retinol. In fact, the formula's hyaluronic acid content will help counter the drying effects of vitamin A.
Is Beauty of Joseon Glow Serum good for acne?
The Beauty of Joseon Glow Serum is great for acne on skin that's visibly red and inflamed. The serum contains plenty of anti-inflammatory ingredients such as tea tree, tumeric root, and of course, it's feature ingredient propolis. It feels immediately soothing on application, and the niacinamide content will also aid mild acne. If you have strong acne, try using this in combination with a BHA toner.
Is Beauty of Joseon Glow Serum good for hyperpigmentation?
While the Beauty of Joseon Glow Serum has plenty of hyperpigmentation-fighting ingredients like niacinamide, propolis and turmeric root, it is not the primary aim of this serum. For a stronger and more targeted hyperpigmentation treatment, reach for Beauty of Joseon's Glow Deep Serum instead, which contains 2% arbutin.
