Yay—let's recycle! Here’s a quick guide for when you've finished using all your products:
1. Make the products 'recycle ready' by rinsing it out and cleaning it. What if the product doesn't work for me? Give it to someone who might like to try it! That way, you will minimise wastage and give the product a second home. ♡♡
2. Get the DETAILS! Typically, most skin care packaging is recyclable in Australia, but what can and can’t be recycled depends on where you live. A quick Google search will reveal a recycling guideline based on your state / territory.
3. Can I put this in my recycling bin? If you've checked and the answer is 'yes', give these items a second life and put them in the recycling bin. If it's not, look into enterprises like TerraCycle, to help you properly recycle your beauty products. If the product is recycable through TerraCycle, it is FREE and all you have to do is gather your empty products together, print a recycling label and ship it out - that’s it! They’ll take care of the rest for you.
FYI, recycling plants uses numbers ranging from 1 to 7 to help sort all the materials. PETE stands for Polyethylene Terephthalate and PP stands for Polypropylene — these are both plastics. PAP represents paper / mixed paper / cardboard. See Earth Easy to learn more about your plastics.
That's it babes! Remember to love our earth; love our planet! #dontbetrashy

Well, we've all known Beauty of Joseon to be the go-to brand when it comes to dry, dull and sallow skin, but what about skin on the oilier and acne-prone side? Now there's the Ground Rice and Honey Glow Mask! Along with the Matte Sun Stick and the Glow Replenishing Rice Milk, it'll help regulate sebum levels and gently brighten the skin without leaving it dehydrated.
This wash-off mask has a texture like a grainy rice porridge, but isn't overly abrasive. Rather, it feels like a high-end spa product, but with the excellent results that we've now come to expect from Beauty of Joseon! The formula uses rice hull powder and kaolin clay to absorb excess sebum and help exfoliate dead skin cells. And that plump, radiant afterglow? That's thanks to the 5% honey concentration, with its natural enzyme activity allowing it to better penetrate the skin and bring hydration to the underlying layers.
150ml.
Product of Korea.

There are several benefits to using a rice and honey face mask! Rice is a naturally brightening ingredient, and can gently promote a more even skin tone. It also contains anti-aging properties. Similarly, honey has been used for thousands of years across various cultures in skincare, for its hydration, antimicrobial and soothing benefits. It's a favourite for acne-prone skin as well, because of its ability to calm inflammation.
Korean rice masks are great on the skin, especially this one from Beauty of Joseon! It's a popular ingredient among K-Beauty brands and consumers for good reason. Rice contains several amino acids that are beneficial to slowing the aging process, as well as increasing suppleness. Plus this Ground Honey Rice Mask from Beauty of Joseon boasts a clean formula, without any harsh chemicals, phthalates, parabens or artificial fragrances.
Beauty of Joseon is a proudly cruelty-free brand, with several of their products being vegan as well.
Both rice and honey are natural skin brighteners, so the Beauty of Joseon Glow Mask will gently brighten the skin with regular use. It won't do it as rapidly as say, a vitamin C serum or a high strength chemical exfoliant, but it won't cause irritation either. This product is a great option for skin on the sensitive side.
Unsurprisingly, the Beauty of Joseon Ground Rice and Honey Glow Mask reviews have been super positive. Users say it leaves their skin noticeably softer and brighter after one use, with the Glow Milk Toner making a great combination with this mask. The mask doesn't dry out on the skin once applied, so the skin doesn't feel stripped after use. Many have also commented that it feels like a spa product, with a pleasant, natural sticky rice scent (Beauty of Joseon doesn't use any artificial fragrances).
You can use the Beauty of Joseon Glow Mask either at morning or at night after cleansing - it's really whenever you have a bit of extra time as it needs at least 15 minutes on the skin to do its best work. This is really only a weekly treatment, or to be used when your skin feels particularly oily or congested - it's not a daily thing.
